Squally

We left Little Harbour first thing in the morning so we could be at anchor before work. A light rain fell as we prepared to go, but it cleared out by the time we departed. It was an absolute flat calm morning, and it was the first time we weren’t getting rocked and rolled by big ocean swells. The storm clouds were stunning, and I couldn’t get enough – I was just glad that the squall missed us.

We ended up at Tahiti Beach again (we tried to stop at Tilloo, but the cell signal was terrible, so we picked up anchor and moved). We only stayed for the night and again found ourselves hauling anchor under threat of rain, and this time it delivered. Fortunately it was a quick-moving squall, and while there were little showers all around, once the main band passed, we were in the clear and were able to enjoy the dramatic skies.
