Since we started tracking our miles in September of 2022, we’ve recorded 5,150 miles, and we estimate that since we started living aboard, we’ve sailed at least 6,500 miles. It’s wild to think that a one year experiment turned into an amazing lifestyle, and it’s hard to know that we’re taking a break. But Windara really does need some love, and it’s a good opportunity for us to deal with a lot of the “life stuff” we put off dealing with before we had a good sense of whether this lifestyle was for us. I’m excited to know that when we cast off the lines again, Windara will be safer, in better condition, and more “ours” than ever.
